Does your suite have Wi-Fi?

Yes!  We have secure high speed Wi-Fi!

Should we bring groceries or shop after we arrive?

Either, however I recommend bringing them with you so you can spend as much time enjoying The Suite and the area.  The closest grocery stores are Food Lion and Walmart and are 8 miles away.  If for some reason you forgot something, want to set up for a special occasion, please contact us!

Should we bring dishes, cookware, utensils or linens?

No! The Suite is fully furnished and if you need anything we live next door and are welcome to bring you what you need.

How far are you from all the activities, towns, places to do things? 

We are nestled in Shendandoah County and away from all the hustle and bustle of everything you experience!  I always say “It’s 8 miles” to anything and some towns are a little further away.  No lights, a few stop signs and rolling hills of mountains and farmlands between us and “civilization”.

What is your cancellation policy and payment policy?

We follow AirBnb and  VRBO standards and certainly if something comes up unexpectedly, please let me know.  We ask for 50% deposit upon booking to reserve your stay with the remaining balance due 30 days out.  If you’re your stay is within 30 days, we ask for 100% payment upon booking.

Is there a damage deposit?

We do assess a non-refundable pet policy depending on the dog or cat, be sure to describe your pet and we ask they not get on the furniture or sleep in the bed with you. If you need extra pet blankets, coverings, please ask.

Do you have recommendations of what to do or where to eat?

We have a ton!  Check out our local attractions page and the Welcome Portfolio when you arrive. 

What are your check-in/out procedures?

Check-in is at 2pm. We will give you a personal code to enter the keyless entry when you arrive. If you plan to arrive earlier, please let us know so if possible, we can allow you early check in. Check-out is at 11am. If you want more time, please ask and we will try to accommodate.  We will take care of your linens and trash. If you have a lot of trash during your stay, please let us know and we will pick it up at the bottom of the stairs. We ask that you wash and return all your dishes and kitchen items and if you start the dishwasher and it hasn’t finished before you leave, we will take care of it for you. If you have moved anything, please move it back as it was when you arrived.  If you need anything, if something breaks, or needs our attention please let us know right away so we can address it for you and/or the next guests.

Recommendations for fishing, hiking, wineries, other activities?

We have a ton!  Check out our local attractions page and the Welcome Portfolio when you arrive.  Ben is an experienced outdoorsman and can give you a lot of input and recommendations.  We also have extra kayaks you can rent and may be able to provide rides if needed.
